Day 13: My favorite song from the late, great George Michael
Growing up, my sister and I used to do dance performances for any family and friends who were visiting… or just for ourselves. One of our favorite cassette tapes to dance to was George Michael’s album that included the song Freedom ‘90. I was so sad when he passed last year. What a legend.
It is no coincidence that Mike’s and my LLC, one of my favorite songs of all time, and the app that I use to keep myself between the ditches while working on my most important tasks all contain the same word: FREEDOM!
Today’s experiment has to do with the latter on the list.
It’s how I keep my monkey mind from sabotaging my efforts to get focused on my most important tasks. It’s one of the best antidotes to resistance I have found!
Check out the video below to learn how this app can help you create freedom with today’s experiment.
In addition to the Freedom app on your computer, you can also take social media apps off your phone or try another app called In Moment which actually tracks and limits your social media use on your phone if you program it to do so.
Share how today’s experiment went with me on social media using #DoLessExperiment and tag me @katenorthrup. I’m curious to hear if you found this experiment as freeing as I did!
